This is long overdo but we couldn’t miss the chance to feature Matthew and Megan. Back in September we anticipated this day. After meeting Matthew and Megan, we couldn’t help but be drawn to their magnetic personalities. We awoke the day of their engagement shoot to find a rainy, dreary day. But that did not stop this couple! They showed up to our Studio in Luray, wearing hiking boots and rain coats! Matthew and Megan are obviously adventurous and were up for anything, so off we went to Dark Hallow Falls located at Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park. The one mile hike leads to a beautiful waterfall that provided a perfect back drop to feature this lovely couple. We had a blast! I climbed over rocks and balanced myself VERY carefully (Almost taking a tumble down the stream) but nevertheless I do what I have to do to get the perfect shot! Mathew and Megan did the same. They literally took off their shirts in the chilly cold air and waded through the ice cold mountain stream water. This truly shows the strength and the love that they had for one another. We combined this shoot with an evening in the small town of Luray hanging our in some alley ways for a more casual setting. Matthew and Megan are runners, so they put on their running gear and had a mini work-out session just for us!
This couple made my job so easy. I am so happy that Matthew and Megan chose me to be a part of their life and their big day!
