Peter and the Starcatcher at Shenandoah Conservatory

We had yet another awesome night spending some time at Shenandoah University and watching these talented students perform. We are always impressed with all the hard work that goes into one of these plays both behind the scenes and on stage. This show was unique in that it was in a smaller more intimate setting. The performance is held in the Glaize Studio Theatre. The audience sits around a stage in the center with some sections in between making in a much more interactive environment. Actors weave themselves in and out of various spaces so that the audience can feel as if they are a part of the show. This made my job a bit more challenging BUT I adapt to any environment pretty well and this was fun, up close, and made for some amazing images.

Peter and the Starcatcher is based on a series of novels by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. It reveals the backstory of Peter Pan’s life as an orphan and his climb to fearless leader of the Lost Boys of Neverland. Unfortunately the show is SOLD OUT already. But we are so thankful to be a part of this production. Please check out Peter and the Starcatcher for more information. Also visit Shenandoah Conservatory to see what performances are coming up! You have to see what these talented folks do. It will blow you away.
