We definitely got to really enjoy the fall leaves with many of our new Wedding clients this year. During our consultation we learned that John had proposed to Stacey on Skyline Drive, and with the leaves almost at peak foliage we knew we had to do their Engagement session there.
We started off our session at the very spot that he proposed to her. It was somewhat difficult to get the angle we wanted with that huge off the side of the mountain style cliff that I was next to, however we were able to still recreate and capture this life changing moment.
From there we went where the mountain guided us having so many beautiful spots to photograph at, some were even right at the overlook.
While others we merely had to walk a little bit away from the cars to see the golden colors the leave provided as the sun rays beamed thru.
We soon decided to head towards Big Meadows for a wardrobe change, and our next location. Oddly enough John and Stacey received a very special photobomb from one of the local deer. We were all a little nervous until the animal left, then we continued shooting.
For the last stop of our day we went to the entrance to Dark Hollow Falls Trail to grab the last photos we could before the sunset.
I can’t wait to photograph these guys’ Wedding next year, Congratulations again John and Stacey!
