Nestled deep into the Shenandoah Valley…..
A Groom and his Bride made their lifetime commitment to each other in the fall of 2014.
Eric and Laura held a casual, “back yard” affair. While casual, they still had everything: dinner catered by the Mimslyn Inn, two live bands, three dessert options, photography, videography, and a photobooth.
It was an elegant setup with the Shenandoah mountain as the backdrop to their ceremony. The flowers by Art of Occasions highlighted the beautiful country scenery with their wildflower arrangements. This was echoed in the bouquets and head garland worn by the bride and the boutonnieres worn by the men and the couple’s beloved dog.
While the Mimslyn Inn catered a fantastic buffet, the elegant cake was provided by Diane Buckley and then they still had the amazing pies from Gathering Grounds and an assortment of cookies baked by a family friend.
The band for the ceremony and happy hour, The Judy Chops, definitely set the tone for a fun, relaxed wedding day while the reception band, White Chocolate, kept the energy high until the very end. Under a tent lit for the evening with fairy lights, they all danced into the night.
The bride was radiant in her gown and the bridesmaids glowed in their dresses from Ann Taylor.
